Ian Mackay - Founder and CEO
Ian is the founder and CEO of the Peace Life Project Foundation. Born and raised in Squamish BC, Ian is currently attending nursing school at Douglas College in Vancouver, BC. From a young age Ian began travelling the world and since then has been on humanitarian trips to various countries such as Zambia, Haiti and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Linda Mobula - Director
Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dr. Linda Mobula is a John’s Hopkin’s Medical School Graduate and recently completed her masters in public health. Linda and Ian met in Haiti as first responders with the cholera epidemic. Linda has since completed a one year contract as the Medical Director for Samaritan’s Purse Haiti. Linda routinely returns to Congo to visit her family and continues to be a driving force behind Peace Life Project’s presence in her native country

Hayley Goodgrove - Director
Born and raised in Squamish, BC, Hayley is currently attending Simon Fraser University for Communications. After travelling to countries such as Kenya and Tanzania, and being exposed to Ian’s humanitarianism, Hayley was inspired to get involved.

Morgan Wienberg - Director
Morgan is the co-founder of “Little Footprints, Big Steps” an organization based out of Haiti, working to ensure and advocating to make sure children’s nutritional, medical and educational needs are met. Morgan met Ian in Haiti where they were both providing aid to Haitians after the earthquake in 2010.

Amani Matabaro Tom - Director
Amani is the founder of Actions pour le Bien être de la Femme et de l'Enfant au Kivu. Amani and his wife created the Kivu Sewing Workshop, which works to provide victims of sexual violence with a sense of purpose and self-worth as well as the ability to support themselves economically. A Congolese native, Amani has not only been a witness, but a victim of the violence occurring in the DRC.
